I think many of us who use Ravelry feel it is the best social networking option (and can quickly become a critical part of our lives). Hopefully the more it is written about the better the owners will do (because they are awesome) and the more small social networking sites will be developed that are actually good.

If you’re not a knitter and want to be I am easily convinced to teach you. (Especially when cookies are involved!)
